Generator
Selection

Buying a generator can be confusing. There are an endless number of suppliers, manufacturers and experts, all claiming to have the best solution to your generator requirements. This can be costly and time consuming.

We are MYNT first element, and we believe generator selection should be simple. We have been in power generation for over 20 years and have supplied generators to many of the largest construction, mining, industrial, government and rental organisations in Australia and throughout the Asia-Pacific.

A generator is a very simple machine, an engine, alternator and radiator are coupled to a fuel tank base. Then, the entire machine is housed in a canopy with a control panel.

Selecting the right generator for your needs is also easier than you think. In fact, there are only three different generator applications

Standby

Stationary

Mobile

FS Series

A standby generator is used where mains power exists, and the generator operates when there is a blackout. It is effectively insurance. And like insurance, price matters, as does choosing a reputable supplier. Talk to a generator expert when selecting your standby power solution.

FT Series

Stationary generators are used as the primary source of power, but spend all, or most of their life in one location. Over 90% of your costs will be fuel consumption. Sizing the generator accurately and selecting the most efficient engine available in that size is critical.

FMP Series

Mobile generators move from place to place. They are most often used in construction, mining and rental applications where they are transported around on cranes and trucks. A robust canopy design will dictate the lifespan and overall cost of a mobile generator.

Ultra Heavy Duty

Aston Electric is a product of unrivalled durability. Tried and tested in the harshest conditions on Earth, Aston Electric is quite simply the toughest generator on the planet. Australian engineering meets Japanese manufacturing excellence.
